Bec and Zac were married down in Kendenup which is about 4 hours down south towards Albany. It’s not a typical place for weddings but they wanted to get married in Zac’s family church because his grandfather helped build the church and his parents were married there. Zac’s father is the pastor down there too which makes it even more significant.
Bec put us up for two nights so Adrian and I hopped in the car and headed down the day before. I haven’t been down that way since I was in primary school so I didn’t even know WA had peaks taller than hills. We were welcomed by the Stirling Ranges which to me felt like we were on a road trip in another country.
I was told by one of the bridesmaids that Zac and Bec held back on other things in order to have me shoot their wedding which is an awesome compliment and responsibility. I’m so glad I was told that after the event but we’ve managed to push our work to new levels here.
These are some of my favourite images from the day.
