Tam and Curt’s big day was our first Aravina Estate Wedding down in Yallingup. Yallingup is a small coastal tourist town about 30mins North of Margaret River’s central township  and it was a major highlight of 2018 for us. We’ve shot at numerous wedding venues in the Southwest but I’d have to say that Aravina Estate is one of the very best. They have the best natural backdrop with the vines in the distance visible from the wedding arbour. The food is also incredible so all the guests were delighted…

Tam and Curt’s big day was our first Aravina Estate Wedding down in Yallingup. Yallingup is a small coastal tourist town about 30mins North of Margaret River’s central township  and it was a major highlight of 2018 for us. We’ve shot at numerous wedding venues in the Southwest but I’d have to say that Aravina Estate is one of the very best. They have the best natural backdrop with the vines in the distance visible from the wedding arbour. The food is also incredible so all the guests were delighted.

Their wedding was years in the making as I first met Tam and Curt 6 years ago at one of my earliest weddings. I photographed Tam’s older sister Natasha’s wedding in the beginning of 2013. That was back in the early days when were were trying to establish ourselves in the local wedding scene. It’s one of my most memorable weddings and the whole family has become near and dear to me. Tam was a bridesmaid back then. She and Curt were together even then and they danced like nobody was watching (I have proof!)

Not much has changed as you’re going to see but Oh how far we’ve come! Their relationship blossomed and we’ve moved up many many notches on the photography belt so I can’t wait to show you this entry!

You can’t have asked for a better setting than what we have in the Southwest. That amazing cliff-lined coast never gets old. Normally we’re trying to hide the outdoors when shooting inside but here, we’re letting in as much as possible!
